Licy Benzaquen is a lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in the electricity sector. Her professional career has focused on the comprehensive development of energy projects, assisting her clients from conception to operation, with a special focus on institutional relations and dispute resolution at both the national and international levels.
She holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a Master's degree in Business Law from the University of Barcelona. She also completed a Master's degree in Energy Regulation from the University of Applied Sciences, among other specialized postgraduate courses. This academic training has allowed her to combine a solid legal foundation with specialized knowledge of the regulatory and business aspects of the energy sector.
Throughout her career, Licy has held key positions that have consolidated her recognition as a leader in the energy sector. She served as Legal Counsel at Edegel (now Orygen Perú SA), was a Senior Associate at Santiváñez Abogados, and served as Legal Counsel at Telefónica Móviles. She subsequently assumed the role of Partner in the Energy and Natural Resources Practice at Estudio Olaechea in Lima, where she led high-impact projects for the sector.
Her experience combines technical knowledge, strategic vision, and an ethical commitment that are reflected in every project she participates in, positioning her as a recognized professional in the Peruvian and international energy sector.
